Enrique Contreras-Nava

Hello, my name is Enrique! I am an official EJ Fellow and what you could consider an honorary Newburgh resident. I reside in Monroe, and am a Biology major currently attending SUNY Orange. I happily spend a lot of my time here in Newburgh. I have participated in volunteer work since freshman year of high school and only recently got more into aiding and preserving nature. I was introduced to the program by a member of the EJF program and since then have been working as a Fellow because I know deeply that nature is special and important to preserve. We have the honor and right to live in the natural beauty that surrounds us, and Newburghers deserve to improve on that and make the City an even better place than it already is!
