Kathy Lawrence
Kathy Lawrence has sown her passions into a career focused on sustainable agriculture, food justice, and environmental programs. An entrepreneur at heart, she has founded several action-oriented non-profit advocacy organizations, including the Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy.
A Greek proverb states, “A society grows great when elders plant trees in whose shade they know they shall never sit.” I believe Newburgh is growing great by sowing the seeds of confidence, collaboration, and the power to make change in the young people who will be our future leaders. - Kathy Lawrence
